The Titus Upputuru Company + Grapes Worldwide create powerful Ramadan story for Eicher
On the occasion of Ramadan, Eicher Tractors and Buses, Bangladesh partnered with Grapes Worldwide and The Titus Upputuru Company to launch this film titled ‘Iftaari’ (Breaking The Fast).
The film shows an old man stranded on the road due to a broken vehicle. He was going to take a few blind children to the mosque to help them break their fast and offer prayers. A compassionate man driving an Eicher Bus stops by and offers to drop them. As he helps the children sit in the bus, he calls up his wife and informs her that he won’t be able to make it in time to break the fast. The blind children listen to the conversation and secretly leave all their lunch boxes behind for the man who had helped them. When the man realizes the sacrifice that the children had done, he buys some sweets along the way, rushes back to the children in the mosque and hugs them with tears in his eyes. The voice over sums up the film – goodness may not always be seen but can always be felt.
