INNOCEAN partners with nine AI specialists to accelerate AI-driven business transformation

INNOCEAN has announced, today April 14th, that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to create an “AI Alliance” with nine leading domestic and international companies, including major big tech firms-known for their advanced technological capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).

This marks INNOCEAN’s second AI alliance following the one formed in October last year. The company plans to further accelerate its AI transformation (hereinafter “AX”) and related business development in collaboration with both existing partners as well as newly joined companies specializing in AI.

The signing ceremony for this AI Alliance, held at INNOCEAN’s Seoul Headquarters, was attended by INNOCEAN Global CEO William Lee as well as executives from the AI companies.

Attendees included: Gang Hwan-bin, division head at Microsoft Korea, Kim Jeong-ho, managing director at IBM Korea, Jeong Chan-uk, managing director at Deloitte Consulting Korea, Jang Ho-seok, CEO of Studio Lennon, Lee Jong-bok, CEO of ITCEN InfoU, Seo Sang-deok, CEO of S2W, ▲ Kim Seong-u, CEO of DHX, Choe Jae-ho, CEO of McK, and An Se-jin, partnership lead at Notion.

In addition, global cloud provider Amazon Web Services is also expected to actively support INNOCEAN’s expansion of its AI business environment, including by providing AI technology support in the advertising and marketing sectors. INNOCEAN, together with the companies participating in this alliance, plans to establish a foundation for AX within the marketing communications industry in order to continuously generate creative and efficient AX.

INNOCEAN laid out a three-stage strategy to achieve AX in the marketing communications sector:
• Building AI in small and practical areas through “small starts.”
• Creating “small successes” based on the directions verified in the previous stage.
• “Smart scaling,” which involves verifying new AI-centered business models that can be utilized in the market and expanding them to the launch of in-house AI solutions through the “small success” strategy.

In simpler terms, it involves gradually introducing suitable AI solutions at the right time, continuously validating their direction, and, based on this, building small success stories to lay the foundation for AX by repeating the cycle of validation and application. Ultimately, the key is to pursue a “gradual expansion of AX” by developing and implementing AI solutions that include only essential functions tailored to the specific business characteristics of individual companies.

To this end, INNOCEAN formed its first AI alliance with Adobe Korea and other partners in October of last year. The company has created an environment for the immediate adoption of AI services by collaborating with various companies capable of delivering optimal AI solutions tailored to key business areas, enabling the gradual expansion of practical AI application starting with small-scale projects.

Furthermore, through this second AI alliance, INNOCEAN aims to accelerate the advancement of its AI business by strengthening its foundation for collaboration, including the sharing of AI technologies and resources across a wider range of fields.

As the first outcome of these efforts, INNOCEAN has recently launched its proprietary AI solution, AiINN. AiINN is an AI solution designed to reduce inefficiencies in content creation and operations while enhancing both internal and external workflow processes. This service enables integrated management of the entire process, from content planning and production to distribution and performance analysis, thereby maximizing the efficiency of content production-related workflows.

In particular, unlike popular AI solutions that come with a full suite of built-in AI functions, AiINN sets itself apart by identifying pain points within business operations and updating its AI functions accordingly. This enables the implementation of customized solutions optimized for each company’s unique workflow to enhance operational efficiency.

For example, each client has different internal guidelines for content creation. With AiINN’s Auto Proof feature, content is automatically reviewed, significantly reducing repetitive inspection tasks during content planning and production.

An INNOCEAN representative who has used AiINN said, “We often need to produce a large volume of content drafts quickly, and AiINN not only improves time efficiency but also reduces unnecessary tasks, such as individually matching brand guidelines.”

He added, “All content generated during the work process, including final outputs and Q&As with clients, is archived within the system, which eliminates the need to retrain the AI every time.”

The planning and development of AiINN involved various partners, including Adobe Korea, known for its AI technologies that accelerate creative workflows, as well as other companies offering AI-based content creation solutions. All of these companies participated in either the first or second AI Alliance.

In the future, INNOCEAN plans to roll out upgraded versions of AiINN in phases to clients in need. To this end, INNOCEAN is continuously optimizing the technology of AiINN and ultimately aims to expand AiINN’s business through monetization and broader application of the platform.

Lee stated, “Through this AI alliance, we plan to turn small success stories into reality and actively expand our jointly developed AI services into the global marketing market.” He added, “INNOCEAN will continue to deliver optimized AI services that provide tangible value to our clients’ businesses.”
