ADC 104th Annual Awards announces 121 finalists from APAC: Led by China with 49 + Japan with 28

The One Club for Creativity has announced the finalists in the ADC 104th Annual Awards, including 121 from 11 countries and regions in APAC, led by mainland China with 49, Japan with 28, Hong Kong-SAR with nine and Taiwan with eight.
Founded in 1920, the ADC Annual Awards is the world’s longest continuously running awards program recognizing global excellence in craft and innovation in all forms of advertising and design.
Dentsu Tokyo leads the region with eight finalists, including three for The Yoshida Hideo Memorial Museum Tokyo “It Works”, and two for The Ad Museum Tokyo “Morning is Born”.
TBWA\Hakuhodo Tokyo has five ADC 104th Annual Award finalists, including two for Japan Philharmonic Orchestra “The Symphony Plotter”.
With four finalists is Motion Sickness Auckland, all for “The Best Place In The Word To Have Herpes” on behalf of The New Zealand Herpes Foundation.
Three finalists each went to Bear Meets Eagle On Fire Sydney (all for Telstra “Better on a Better Network”), Publicis Groupe Hong Kong (all for Cathay “Rerighting History”), and Shaobin Lin Shenzhen, all for Hangzhou Ten degree tour “Ten degree tour-mountain&water tea”.
The number of APAC finalists by other countries include Australia and Malaysia with seven each, New Zealand with four, Macau SAR China and Singapore with three each, South Korea with two, and one for India.
Globally, Klick Health Toronto has the most finalists with 39, including 18 for Café Joyeux “47”, and 11 for KVI Brave Fund “Voice 2 Diabetes”.
Other top finalists are FCB New York 36, Serviceplan Germany Munich with 29, Apple Cupertino with 22, Rethink Canada with 17, and The New York Times Magazine with 15.
A total of 772 finalists from 40 countries were selected by this year’s esteemed ADC 104th Annual Awards jury. The complete searchable list of this year’s finalists is available here.
All finalists will win a Gold, Silver or Bronze Cube or Merit, to be announced on May 14, 2025. ADC Gold and special award winners will be celebrated that evening at the gala awards ceremony at Gotham Hall during Creative Week in New York.
