Spikes Asia spotlight: Havas celebrates 9 wins including a Grand Prix and 3 Gold Spikes

Havas has once again demonstrated its growing creative strength in APAC, securing 9 wins at this year’s Spikes Asia Awards, including a Grand Prix, 3 Golds, 2 Silvers, and 3 Bronzes. Havas Creative India’s “Ink of Democracy” for The Times of India was the networks major winner, being awarded the Grand Prix and 3 Gold Spikes. This follows the network’s strong showing at ADFEST 2025 earlier this year.
This achievement builds on the growing momentum across the region, driven by a renewed focus on creative excellence under the leadership of Rana Barua, Group CEO of Havas India, SEA & North Asia, and Joji Jacob, Regional Chief Creative Officer of Havas SEA and North Asia.
Another key driver of this creative transformation has been the Havas Regional Creative Council, launched in 2022. Led by Joji Jacob and supported by ten of the top creative minds across Asia-Pacific, the council has played a pivotal role in raising the creative bar. Their collective experience and close collaboration with local markets has helped create more ambitious, meaningful, and globally recognized work.
Barua said: “These wins are a true reflection of the energy, ambition, and creativity shaping our agencies across the region. We’ve fostered a culture where fearless ideas thrive, work is meaningful, and our people are empowered to push boundaries. I’m incredibly proud of what our teams have achieved – it’s a testament to what we can accomplish together as One Asia.”
Jacob added: “At the heart of every great piece of work is a talented team fuelled by creativity, passion, and a relentless drive to push boundaries. These wins showcase the incredible talent we have across our markets and the shared belief that bold, meaningful ideas can change the game.”
With the momentum continuing to build, Havas’ latest achievements reinforce the network’s commitment to driving creativity that makes a real difference — work that is brave, meaningful, and true to its ethos of being the most meaningful partner to brands.
