Daniel Foo elevated to Executive Creative Director at We Are Social Singapore

Socially-led creative agency, We Are Social Singapore, has promoted Daniel Foo to Executive Creative Director. Foo joined We Are Social in 2024 as creative director after three years client-side with e-commerce company Lazada.
Foo is charged with building out the agency’s creative product offering and leading the creative department to deliver innovative, socially-led work for clients. As part of his new role, he will also join the agency’s leadership team. He reports to Naiyen Wang, We Are Social’s Managing Director for Southeast Asia.
He is a seasoned creative with more than 15 years of experience working at agencies including BBH, Grey Group, JWT and McCann on clients across industries including tech, banking, tourism and retail. His work has been awarded at award shows locally and globally including D&AD and the Creative Circle Awards.
His promotion comes as the agency celebrates the launch of its proprietary AI agent, Luna, with Skechers and its recently opened office in Bangkok, further adding to its footprint in Southeast Asia. It also recently added H&M to its client portfolio which includes Samsung Mobile, Warner Bros. Discovery, UOB and Ferrari.
Wang said: ”Social is now a core pillar in brand building. Having a creative leader with diverse global, regional and local experiences who is able to translate brand challenges into meaningful and effective through-the-funnel social moments is invaluable. Daniel is able to blend strategic rigour with creative craftsmanship for every brief to elevate the work. In the year that he has been with us, he has proven to be a creative leader who inspires, understands the critical importance of effectiveness and is a true partner to both our teams and clients.”
Daniel Foo, Executive Creative Director at We Are Social Singapore, added: “Big thanks to Naiyen and the agency for the trust and support. I get to work with a team of absolute killers, which makes making great work fun, to put it simply. Work that gets people talking — not just in the industry, but out in the real world.”
