TBWA Hakuhodo’s No Smiles campaign recognized at four of the world’s top creative award shows

TBWA\HAKUHODO’s latest Gold wins at The One Show 2025 and the International ANDY Awards 2025 for its McDonald’s Japan’s “No Smiles” campaign, means their campaign has earned high accolades at four of the world’s top creative festivals  – Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, ANDY Awards and now, The One Show – within a single award season.

 

‘No Smiles’ was last week awarded a Best of Discipline, a Gold Pencil in Music & Sound Craft, and a Silver Pencil in Branded Entertainment at The One Show 2025.

Since its launch, the campaign has resonated with audiences across Japan and beyond, collecting major international accolades including a Gold Lion at Cannes Lions 2024, a Grand Clio and Gold at the Clio Music Awards, a Silver and Bronze at the 2025 Clio Awards, Gold at the ANDY Awards and now a Best of Discipline and Gold Pencil at The One Show 2025.
