Terence D’Souza steps down as Chief Creative Officer of hotstuff medialabs after 12 years

A qualified auditor who made a bold pivot to advertising in 2012, Terence D’Souza has played a pivotal role in transforming hotstuff into a full-fledged advertising and events agency. Over the past 12 years, he has helped build and nurture a portfolio of over 30 brands, including SBI Securities, SBI Life, Tata AIG, ICICI Lombard, ICICI Prudential, Bayer, SUD Life, the Godrej Group, IIFL, and Cigna.
Renowned for his focus on conceptual clarity, D’Souza led cross-functional creative teams across campaigns, events, and films. He collaborated with artists from across the country and mentored a new generation of team leads during his tenure.
D’Souza cited health reasons for stepping down as Chief Creative Officer, following a brain stroke last year. Now recovered, he is looking forward to a refreshed chapter in his media career.
“hotstuff has always had a legacy of thinking boldly and working courageously on new ideas,” he said. “And now, I’m confident the team will continue to rise to the challenge.”
