Fern Holloway returns to NZ from London to lead Match Artists into next phase of growth

Match Artists, one of New Zealand’s top-tier photographic and motion agencies, is signalling a new era with the appointment of Fern Holloway as Company Director and Agent. Holloway returns to New Zealand from London to take the helm, working alongside Match founder Gerardine Turney who will continue to support and guide the business through this exciting new phase.

Turney, says the move is a natural progression for the agency: “I’ve worked with Fern for close to a decade in her role as an Agency Producer. She’s incredibly capable, always composed, and her communication is faultless – even under pressure. I’ve long had her in my sights as the perfect person to lead Match into the future and I’m genuinely thrilled she’s joined us.”

Holloway brings extensive experience from Clemenger BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi, Colenso BBDO and AMV BBDO London, producing award-winning campaigns across global and local brands. She has deep connections across the creative and production community and a sharp eye for craft and execution.

“I’ve long admired the calibre of work Match Artists produces,” says Holloway. “It’s an honour to be joining such an established and talented group of artists. I’m excited to build on the agency’s legacy and to keep pushing the boundaries of what we create in partnership with our clients and collaborators.”

Match Artists represents some of the most awarded advertising photographers in the world, consistently delivering premium stills and motion work for leading brands and agencies. The appointment of Holloway marks a strategic move to scale further while staying true to the craft-driven ethos the agency is known for.
