Assembly appoints Aaron Kleiman as General Manager and Client VP in Japan

Global omnichannel media agency Assembly has appointed Aaron Kleiman as General Manager and Client VP of its Japan operations. This strategic hire marks a significant move in Assembly’s North Asia expansion, deepening its presence to meet growing client demand and dynamic market shifts.
In his dual role, Kleiman will lead all aspects of the agency’s Japan operations, overseeing strategy, performance, and cross-functional team integration. He will also serve as a senior advisor to both local and global clients—delivering transformative, data-driven and tech-enabled marketing solutions specifically tailored for the Japanese market.

Kleiman brings over 25 years of experience in the Japanese market, across both agency and client-side leadership. Most recently, as Deputy Head of Initiative Japan, he spearheaded strategic growth for clients including AWS, LEGO, 3M, Finnair, Patek Philippe, and Hyatt. His unique ability to align global strategies with nuanced cultural insights—especially across travel, retail, and technology—makes him exceptionally qualified to lead Assembly’s expanding regional portfolio.
