AI in Education: ASUS explores modern learning in “Another Incredible School Day”

What does a day in the life of a modern student really look like? ASUS, in partnership with Hong Kong-based creative agency Byron McKenzie and production house Vantage Pictures, set out to answer that with “Another Incredible School Day” – a vibrant new global brand film for ASUS Education that blends kinetic storytelling with clever product integration.

Written by Kiefer McKenzie, Creative Director at Byron McKenzie, the film follows a student as he navigates the controlled chaos of school life—from hallways and homework to science labs, and food fights. At the center of it all? ASUS education devices keeping pace with every twist and turn.

“For us, showing AI-powered devices in an educational setting presented a creative challenge. Our goal was to depict how AI enhances student learning, enabling them to cover more ground, research effectively, and challenge themselves, rather than AI simply doing the work for them. The “cloning” scene served as the perfect metaphor, highlighting AI as a valuable and positive learning tool for the modern student,” says McKenzie.

Additionally, every sequence was crafted to highlight a specific product benefit—durability, mobility, collaboration, connectivity, and ease of IT maintenance—while still feeling fun, light, and human. The campaign’s modular structure means each scene can be re-cut for digital platforms, event loops, or vertical formats, making it more flexible and better suited to ASUS’s needs.

“This film is a love letter to the energy and unpredictability of student life,” says film director Paul Moore. “We built a fast-paced, visually playful world using match cuts, transitions, and POVs to show how the tech adapts seamlessly to each environment.”

From collaborative art classes to the joyful chaos of a cafeteria food fight, it’s a vibrant visual feast that captures the unpredictable rhythm of a modern student’s day and shows how educational institutions can enhance the learning environment by introducing AI-powered devices.

Filming took place entirely in Saigon, Vietnam, where the team assembled a diverse international cast and shot across cost-efficient locations that gave the film global appeal.

“Vietnam offered the perfect canvas for a story like this,” says James Duong, Executive Producer at Vantage Pictures. “We had access to international-grade crew and talent, all within a smart budget. It’s a great example of how you can deliver premium storytelling with production agility.”

For ASUS, the goal was to demonstrate how our student-centered solutions unlock incredible learning throughout the school day to help prepare students for a brighter future.

“Every school day, from the first bell to the final buzzer, is a chance to ignite student potential with the right technology. ASUS education solutions are durable, adaptable, and designed for easy IT support. Equipped with AI tools that spark curiosity beyond the classroom, they are the trusted choice for educating the next generation of innovators,” says Tommy Tai, Global Commercial Marketing Director at ASUS. “Another Incredible School Day captures that spirit with colour, energy, and imagination.”

“Working with BM & Vantage was a seamless and collaborative experience. Their creativity and professionalism brought our vision to life with vibrant storytelling and dynamic visuals that truly resonate with today’s learners and educators,” says Jean Jia, Global Marketing Campaign Manager at ASUS.
