Talented and CoinDCX unleash the bulls in Bengaluru in a fusion of fitness and finance

As Bitcoin continues to make headlines, India’s largest crypto exchange CoinDCX decided to mark the moment the only way that felt right: with a bunch of bulls running through Bengaluru.
In collaboration with Indiranagar Run Club, The Bull Run took over the streets of HSR Layout on an otherwise ordinary Saturday morning. Dozens of runners showed up, some in full bull costumes to jog a 5K, turning heads, cameras, and crypto clichés in one go. Equal parts theatre, fitness, and finance, the run serves as a reminder that the journey with crypto is far from a sprint. It’s a long-haul movement – built on belief, stamina, and the thrill of staying the course.
The Bull Run was brought to life by independent creative agency Talented. While the agency and CoinDCX have cooked up other projects before, this was the first to go off-road, online, and fully in costume.
In a category that talks about bull runs twice before breakfast, this one asked – why not let people actually join one? From bulls vlogging their warm-ups to runners chasing them down sunlit streets, the activation mashed up Bengaluru’s run culture with the tempo of a market high on momentum. Fast. Playful. And bullish as hell.

Prashant Verma, Chief Growth & Marketing Officer, CoinDCX, said: “The connection between running and investing has always felt natural — both require patience, discipline, and a long-term mindset. With our Bull Run campaign, we’re bringing that insight to life on the streets, right when endurance sports are gaining momentum across India. It’s more than just a metaphor — running with the bulls symbolizes the power of belief over panic, and discipline over fear. Our creative partners at Talented understood this immediately. With them, it’s never just about an idea — it’s about instinct and tapping into the cultural pulse. The Bull Run transformed market momentum into something you could chase, capture, laugh about, and remember. That’s exactly the kind of energy we want to put into the world.”
Prashant Gopalakrishnan, Founding Partner & Advika Sharda, Brand Strategy at Talented, added: “Some briefs are about charts & headlines, but this one pushed us to think further. We’ve always loved ideas that break out of the browser, and this one ran straight through the streets. We had mad fun putting this unusual brand activation together, merging finance and fitness that led us to a result that was absurd but bang on for a bold client like CoinDCX.”
