Pierre Loo named ECD of IPG Health in APAC, expanding creative leadership to Japan

IPG Health has elevated Pierre Loo to Executive Creative Director of IPG Health in APAC. Having led the network’s creative in China for nearly a decade, this elevation expands Loo’s remit to include IPG Health agencies in China and Japan.
In this new role, Loo will focus on advancing the network’s creative vision and effectiveness throughout China and extending to Japan, leading a team of over 50 talented creatives across the region.
With two decades of healthcare experience across global markets, including nearly 10 years within the IPG Health ecosystem as Executive Creative Director of McCann Health Greater China, Loo brings proven expertise and an obsession with harnessing creativity, technology, data and science to deliver creative solutions that solve real problems, grow businesses and change lives.

Loo’s expertise spans both Pharma and Consumer sectors. He has delivered award-winning work globally, having launched his career in New York before returning to Asia, where he has been instrumental in transforming the health marketing landscape. He’s an active voice in the global creative community, serving as a jury member at major award shows including Pharma juror at Cannes Lions 2024. Loo’s work has earned top honors at award shows including Cannes Lions, LIA, Clio, Spikes Asia, The One Show, ADC and New York Festivals, among many others. He was also named the #1 Top Creative Director in China and #3 Globally by Lürzer’s Archive (2021).
