Alodia Gosiengfiao cooks up new quest with MAGGI
Alodia Gosiengfiao just entered an exciting new phase – and she’s bringing her community along for the ride. Alodia comes back to full livestream mode, for the first time ever as a mom and family woman. The cosplay queen and gaming icon swapped out her usual streams of epic plays and cosplay reveals for something far more domestic and delightfully unexpected, in partnership with Maggi/Nestle and Minotaur Philippines.
After playing a usual round of a popular online action RPG, she suddenly had the craving to cook IRL (in real life) the video game food she encountered! “I’ve always wondered what those video game dishes actually taste like! The graphics are so high definition, clearly they’d be so delicious and filling, especially after hours of grinding on an empty stomach! So when I was determined to recreate them, I just KNEW I needed MAGGI by my side, to make sure each dish turned out its best!”
This inspired her to put down the gaming headset and don the apron, trying her hand at the kitchen as a chef—much to the surprise and delight of her fans! In a charming cooking segment (after much assurance to her followers that she’s not changing careers!), Alodia set out to recreate iconic food items—a tribute to the immersive worlds she’s long been a part of. But this time, she added her own real-world power-up: MAGGI!
In a playful twist, Alodia “MAGGI-fied” the dishes, transforming them with a dash of MAGGI Magic Sarap and MAGGI Oyster Sauce plus a pinch of personal flair. Her ever-supportive husband even assisted with some of the preparations, and their baby made a heart-flutter-inducing cute appearance.
For her, this moment was more than just a cooking experiment: it was a reflection of a new chapter. It meant adding more ingredients in her personal arsenal to create more meaningful connections to her audience: from gaming to real life, as pop culture icon and now as a meal provider. In the end, she didn’t just make her fans happy – she made her number one fans happy too: her family.
MAGGI’s foray into the gaming world is more than a crossover: it’s a celebration of how game culture and real life can enrich each other. MAGGI is every gamer – and their families’ – enabler in adding flavor to both real-world experiences and the in-game universe.
