New York Festivals AME Greater China Awards announces 2025 shortlist

New York Festivals AME Awards has announced the Shortlist for the 2025 AME Greater China Awards competition.

 

Entries from across Greater China were reviewed online by the Grand Jury, comprising more than 30 top-tier industry experts, including C-suite leaders, strategic innovators, and branding specialists. Applying their deep industry expertise and creative insight, the jury thoughtfully determined the 2025 Shortlist.

This year’s competition drew a wide range of standout work from the region. The entries demonstrated cultural relevance, bold thinking, and innovative engagement strategies.

“The work coming out of Greater China continues to raise the bar for effectiveness and innovation,” said Gayle Seminara Mandel, VP, Executive Director of the AME Awards. “This year’s Shortlist reflects a remarkable blend of cultural insight, bold strategy, and creative excellence. We’re proud to shine a spotlight on these campaigns that deliver results and push the boundaries of what marketing can achieve.”

The campaigns that made the Shortlist stood out for their strategic clarity, creative excellence, and measurable impact in a dynamic and fast-evolving market.

The 2025 AME Greater China Awards attracted a standout slate of work from leading agencies, respected boutique shops, and powerhouse brands across the region. Top agencies advancing to the trophy round with multiple entries shortlisted, include TOPic & Loong, FRED & FARID Shanghai, KARMA, Heaven&Hell, Shared Pulse, Mountains, and Match. LEO, WAYHUA, and GIMC also earned recognition, each moving forward with a strong single entry.

On the brand side, some of Greater China’s most iconic names are in the running for top honors. From global leaders like McDonald’s and Guinness to regional powerhouses including Mengniu, YILI, Taobao, OPPO, and KUAISHOU, the Shortlist reflects the region’s purpose-driven creativity, cultural resonance, and marketing effectiveness.

All entries advancing to the trophy round will be reviewed by the esteemed AME Greater China Executive Jury. A panel of renowned creative and strategic leaders chaired by Jury President Chang I-Fei, Chief Creative Director of IF Creative Studio and former CCO of JWT Taiwan will come together at a live session in Shanghai. This accomplished group of industry trailblazers is known for their award-winning work, forward-thinking insights, and strategic acumen.

Entries in the 2025 AME Greater China Awards were evaluated across four weighted criteria: Results/Effectiveness (30%), Idea (25%), Execution (25%), and Challenge/Strategy/Objective (20%).
