Monks Promotes Dixi Chern to GM, Shanghai

In his new role, Chern will partner with Danny Lee, Managing Director of Monks Greater China, to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering AI-powered business-driving marketing solutions across China and the broader APAC region. He will oversee client partnerships, P&L, and operations, while advancing Monks’ integrated capabilities in empowering the brand’s organizational marketing transformation. This appointment underscores Monks’ commitment to strengthening its position in one of the world’s most dynamic and fast-evolving markets.

As an award winning marketing leader, Chern brings extensive experience across leading digital and advertising networks including TBWA, POSSIBLE, and MullenLowe, with deep expertise at the intersection of business, strategy, and data. In his previous role as Client Service Director at Monks, he demonstrated exceptional leadership in delivering transformative marketing solutions and building strong client partnerships. Throughout his career, he has partnered with marquee brands such as Adidas APAC & Greater China, Hilton Group China, AB InBev China, Unilever, and Johnnie Walker House globally, translating brand ambition into measurable commercial outcomes.
