Boutique music and sound studio plusONE turns up the volume with Soundcheck 11.11
Singapore’s newest music and sound house, plusONE, officially opened its doors last week with Soundcheck 11.11 – a soft-launch party held on Tuesday, 11 November, attended by clients, collaborators, and friends from across the city’s advertising and production community.
Held at the brand-new studio in CT Hub 2, the night began under a light drizzle before opening up into an evening of energy, conversation and connection by the poolside. Guests moved between the poolside gathering and guided studio tours – getting a first look at the spaces that will anchor plusONE’s regional work before returning to continue the night over food and drinks.
Founded by Lindsay Jehan (pictured above middle right), Donny Pereira (above middle left), Kerensa Lee (above left), and Damian Press (above right), plusONE is a boutique music and sound studio built on a simple belief: great sound doesn’t just support a story — it makes you feel it.
The team brings decades of experience across original music, sound design, voice production, and mix throughout Asia Pacific, blending human artistry with evolving technology to craft audio that connects people to ideas.
The new studio features purpose-built production suites, vocal and VO booths, and an open creative floor designed for collaboration and experimentation. The launch party gave the industry a first listen to the plusONE sound – equal parts craft, emotion, and fun.
“We wanted the night to feel like a house party – casual, real, and about the people who’ve supported us in making great sound together,” says Managing Director Donny Pereira. “Soundcheck 11.11 was our way of saying thanks, celebrating this new chapter, and opening our doors to what’s next.”
Guests enjoyed The plusONE Drop (the studio’s custom cocktail), canapés, and free-flow by the poolside, soundtracked by an exclusive playlist curated from favourite songs contributed by guests, before moving on to after-party drinks at The Deck Bar.
plusONE now looks ahead to a busy close to 2025, with ongoing collaborations in original composition, sonic branding, and experiential sound design.
