Yohei Adachi joins S4Capital’s Monks from AKQA as Group Creative Director for Japan

S4Capital’s Monks has hired Yohei Adachi as Group Creative Director for Monks Japan, effective immediately. He joins from AKQA Tokyo, where he most recently served as Creative Director.

 

Working alongside Yukiko Ochiai, Managing Director of Monks Japan, Adachi will lead the creative vision and development of integrated campaigns for Amazon, one of Monks’ most important global partners. He will also play a pivotal role in shaping and elevating the overall creative standard of Monks.

Adachi’s career has taken him from designing for a street fashion brand in New York to leading creative at some of the industry’s most respected agencies. He’s worked at BBH Tokyo and Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo, creating campaigns for brands like Nike, Axe, Levi’s, Audi, and Sony. His approach blends storytelling with design thinking, always looking for the cultural insight that makes work resonate. His creative experience covers everything from brand strategy to digital experiences and experiential installations.
