Hakuhodo acquires majority stake in independent digital marketing agency BCM Venture Integrated

Hakuhodo Inc., headquartered in Tokyo, has acquired a majority stake in BCM Venture Integrated Co. Ltd. (BCM), an independent integrated digital marketing agency based in Vietnam. The acquisition makes BCM a consolidated subsidiary of Hakuhodo.

 

Founded in 2018, BCM is an integrated digital marketing agency that offers a full range of digital services, including e-commerce management, data analytics, creative and content production, digital media planning and buying, website and app development, and UI/UX design. It has particular strengths in e-commerce management and website and app development. The agency boasts a team of many highly skilled professionals who have impressive expertise in corporate digital transformation (DX), including account service and development personnel and UX/UI designers. BCM has won high praise for delivering a broad spectrum of digital services to Japanese and local businesses.

Many Japanese and local companies in Vietnam are increasingly focused on digital transformation, including expanding into e-commerce and developing websites and mobile applications. The addition of BCM to the Group strengthens Hakuhodo’s digital capabilities in the market.

The Hakuhodo Vietnam Group is developing a framework to deliver full-funnel marketing services that address the increasingly complex needs and challenges of clients. By integrating branding and digital expertise, the Group will offer end-to-end support to optimise the entire purchase journey, from building awareness and interest through to purchase and repeat transactions.

At the same time, collaboration across the Group will be further strengthened to support continued business expansion in Vietnam, with BCM joining the Group as part of the “New One Vietnam” network.
