Leo Hong Kong takes out Kam Fan 41 Creative Agency of the Year: BBDO wins the Grand Kam Fan

The winners of Kam Fan 41 were unveiled last night at the celebration party held at Wan Chai Hopewell Hotel, where nearly 300 guests gathered to celebrate Hong Kong’s finest creative achievements. Leo Hong Kong was crowned Creative Agency of the Year, while BBDO Hong Kong took home the prestigious Grand Kam Fan for McDonald’s ‘Back to the Beginning’.

The competition was especially intense at the Grand Kam Fan level, where Leo Hong Kong’s “Back to Kai Tak”, entered in the Media category for Travel, Leisure, Retail, Restaurants & Fast-Food Chains — went head to head with BBDO Hong Kong’s “Back to the Beginning” in the Design & Craft – Event Storytelling category. Both campaigns were frontrunners throughout judging, making the battle for the Grand Kam Fan one of the tightest in recent years.

Leo Hong Kong delivered a strong overall performance, accumulating 9 Golds, 6 Silvers, 6 Bronzes and 2 Merits, which resulted in the agency being named Creative Agency of the Year.

At the same time, BBDO Hong Kong achieved notable recognition with its work “Back to the Beginning,” which received the Grand Kam Fan in the Design & Craft – Event Storytelling category. While Leo Hong Kong led in total medals, BBDO’s campaign demonstrated the agency’s ability to produce a singular piece of work that distinguished itself at the highest level of judging.

Along with the Grand Kam Fan, BBDO Hong Kong won 5 Gold and 5 Silver awards. Maggie Cheung, Managing Director of BBDO Hong Kong said: “These wins are reflective of the amazing momentum we’ve got going at the agency. We can’t wait for continued and future successes we can share with our clients.”
