Jo Lam signs on with 72andSunny Singapore as Executive Strategy Director

72andSunny has appointed Jo Lam as Executive Strategy Director for its Singapore office, bolstering its strategic leadership following recent momentum that includes its appointment as global creative agency for Tiger Beer. Lam joined the agency on 20 July and spent her first week working with clients in Vietnam.

She joins 72andSunny Singapore’s leadership team alongside Managing Director Ross Henderson and Executive Creative Director Fi Yusoff. She reports to International Chief Strategy Officer Maria Galleriu.

“Jo is a unicorn who embodies all the qualities we look for in a strategy leader: intellectual curiosity, generosity of spirit, and a deep belief in the power of creativity to solve real business challenges. Her international perspective and ability to connect strategy with culture make her an outstanding addition to our leadership team, and we’re excited for what’s ahead,” said Galleriu.

Raised in Singapore, Lam brings more than 15 years of international experience spanning Asia, Europe and the United States. Her career has been defined by connecting brand strategy, cultural foresight and business transformation, helping organisations apply creativity to solve complex commercial and communications challenges.

She joins from M&C Saatchi World Services, where she was Strategy Director, Asia-Pacific, leading strategic communications and behaviour change programmes for public sector clients across the region. Prior to that, Lam held strategy leadership roles at Dragon Rouge in Singapore, FNDR in LA and Sparks & Honey in NYC, partnering with global clients—from P&G and Chanel to Yeo’s and Merdeka 118—to shape brand narratives, unlock new avenues for growth, and stay at the forefront of culture.

In her new role, Lam will lead strategy across the agency’s portfolio, partnering with teams and clients to build brands that shape culture while delivering meaningful business impact.

“I’ve always connected deeply with 72andSunny’s belief that optimism is a competitive advantage,” said Lam. “The strongest ideas emerge when people feel curious, energised and excited to explore. I believe play is a catalyst for performance, and I’m excited to help create an environment where joy, experimentation and ambition reinforce one another, unlocking creativity that moves culture and drives growth.”
