Dentsu Tokyo, TBWA Hakudodo Tokyo, TBWA India, BBDO Pakistan, Cheil Seoul, Innocean Seoul, BBDO Bangkok + The NINE Shanghai shortlisted in Cannes Design Lions

Asia has seen 15 entries progress through to the metal round of judging in the Cannes Design Lions category. A total of 153 entries worldwide made the shortlist.

Japan scored 7 shortlists with 5 to Dentsu Inc. Tokyo and 2 for TBWA\Hakudodo Tokyo.

Dentsu’s shortlists were for “Get Back Tohoku” for East Japan Railway; “Aspiration & Persiration” for Dentsu Advertising Awards; “72 Posters for Sumo School Teams”; “Get New Power” for the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence; and “Stimulate Annual” for the Copywriters Club Nagoya”.

TBWA\Hakudodo Tokyo made the cut with “The Restaurant of Mistaken Orders” and “The Most Challenging Ping Pong Table”.

“One Mindful Mind” for the Neurgen Brain and Spine Institute created by TBWA\India was shortlisted twice in the Design Lions.

BBDO Pakistan continues to make an impact at award shows with shortlists for “Truck Art Childfinder” and “The Bridal Uniform”.

South Korea has 2 shortlists – one each for Cheil Worldwide’s Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance “Firevase” and Innocean Worldwide “The Quiet Taxi” for Hyundai.

BBDO Bangkok also made the cut with “7:1 Furniture Collection” for HomePro.

And The NINE Shanghai scored a shortlist for “Handheld Concert” for Rokid.
