Orocan and Soupstar Music go to the bathroom to help fight cabin fever in The Philippines
Forget America’s Got Talent or Britain’s Got Talent, for times like these in The Philippines bathroom’s got talent. A new 5-episode show launched by Oracan via Gigil Manila.
The current lockdown and overload of bad news has been causing sadness among most Filipinos. But since Filipinos are known to find happiness amidst any crisis, Orocan, a famous brand in the country for bath pails and dippers, wanted to bring out that optimism by launching ‘Kubeta Got Talent’ (roughly, Bathroom Got Talent) with Soupstar Music.
‘Kubeta Got Talent’ is the first singing contest to be held in every contestant’s bathroom. It is a 5-episode show, live on Facebook, with three contestants and one guest artist each day.
It is hosted and judged by the vocalists of some of the Philippines’ biggest bands – Tutti Caringal of 6cyclemind, Kleggy Abaya of Banda Ni Kleggy, and Kiara San Luis of Imago. However, each winner is not only chosen by these three judges, but also voted by the audience during the show’s live polls.
