Emily Chang to replace Ronald Sun as Chief Executive Officer at McCann Worldgroup China
McCann Worldgroup China announces a change in its leadership, appointing Emily Chang as CEO. Chang has relocated to Shanghai from the US, replacing Ronald Sun, who is stepping down after three years in the role.
Chang brings a wealth of experience, joining the ad industry from her previous client-side roles as SVP Marketing, Starbucks (based in Seattle); CMO, Starbucks China; Chief Commercial Officer, IHG; and Head of Retail Marketing Asia for Apple (all based in Shanghai). She also spent 11 years with P&G working across all three of their global business units.
With 20 years’ in Customer Experience, Business Strategy, Cross-Cultural Team Leadership, Change Management and Brand Building, Chang is a distinguished marketer and a proven leader with end-to-end business experience.

Lol Jesse the exceo left McCann several years ago to “spend more time with his family”, but exactly a week after that statement he joined another agency haha. We know what happened there.
