Asia picks up 28 shortlists across LIA’s Digital and Social Media & Influencers categories

London International Awards (LIA) has announced the shortlists for the Digital and Social Media & Influencers categories. Asia collected 28 shortlists, picking up 26 in the Digital category.

 

In the Digital category Cheil PengTai Beijing and Ogilvy Shanghai each scored 2 shortlists for their “The Cost of Bullying” and “Voice Doodler” campaigns. Amber China and Tencent, Shenzen picked up 1 shortlist each.

Cheil India, Gurugram’s Samsung Good Vibes “Now, Words Aren’t Just Heard, But Felt.” campaign picked up 2 shortlists. Ogilvy Mumbai also scored 2 shortlists for Dove “Stop The Beauty Test”. DDB Mudra Group, Mumbai picked up 1 for Stayfree.

From Japan Dentsu Inc., Tokyo picked up 3 shortlists for their “Tuna Scope 2020” campaign. Dentsu Craft Tokyo was awarded 2 shortlists and Geometry Ogilvy Japan picked up 1.

In Thailand, Wunderman Thompson picked up 2 shortlists for “Stay Home Mile Exchange”. Wolf Bangkok picked up 1 shortlist for Central Midnight Sale “Shop Unfriend” in Weird Wonderful Work.

Ogilvy Pakistan’s Cannes Grand Prix winning Telenor Pakistan “Naming the Invisible by Digital Birth Registration” scored 2 shortlists

Cheil Worldwide Seoul, GIGIL Manila, McCann Worldgroup Hong Kong and Method and Madness Singapore all received 1 shortlist.

Ogilvy India picked up Asia’s only shortlists in the Social Media & Influencers category, recieving 2 shortlists for Dove “Stop The Beauty Test”

There are a total of 133 entries Shortlisted; 90 in Digital and 43 in Social Media & Influencers, representing thirty countries. The United States dominates with twenty-four shortlisted entries, followed by Canada with twelve and Australia with ten shortlisted entries.

This jury, presided over by Malcolm Poynton, Global Chief Creative Officer and President, Creative for Cheil Worldwide, spent countless hours discussing the entries to be sure that the best work was awarded.
