DDB Philippines elevates Anna Chua-Norbert to the Managing Director role
DDB Philippines has appointed Anna Chua-Norbert as Managing Director. Chua-Norbert will report to Gil G. Chua, Group Chairman and CEO of DDB Group Philippines.
Most notably known for her role as DDB Group Philippines’ Chief Culture Officer, Chua-Norbert has created holistic programs and led the experience to nurture talents, especially in pivotal moments. She has transformed and inspired growth of the group’s business through ‘People First’ culture, leading to its numerous accolades won for the country, the industry, and its people. Most recent are Champion of the UN Women’s WEP awards under the category Gender Responsive Marketplace and HR Asia’s Best Company to Work for, the first advertising company to receive both recognitions.
For Marty O’Halloran, Global CEO of DDB Worldwide, Chua-Norbert’s leadership of DDB PH is seen as a progressive transformation for the creative agency.

Throughout her career, Chua-Norbert has advocated for safe spaces, equality, inclusivity and has effectively built harmonious diverse teams that deliver powerful creative solutions for complex business and societal challenges. She led the DDB Group team to make Filipinos get their shot of COVID-19 vaccine as the creative partner of the Department of Health for the RESBAKUNA vaccine-demand generation campaign, which successfully vaccinated the target population ahead of schedule.
She is the first Filipina to win Campaign’s Women Leading Change Award – Diversity Champion in 2020, her principles to make diversity, equity, and inclusion a critical business strategy in growing the business and delivering the best creative solutions to clients’ challenges ensure DDB PH will be at the forefront of the industry for many years to come.
