2023 Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings: PG Aditiya is India’s #1 ranked creative with ‘The Unfiltered History Tour’ team all ranking top 9
Following the huge success of Dentsu Creative India’s “The Unfiltered History Tour”, it’s no surprise that India’s 2023 Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings are led by the creatives involved in creating the campaign. On top of the chart in #1 ranking is PG Aditiya who lead the creation and execution of the campaign whilst at Dentsu Webchutney – the agency name before the change to Dentsu Creative. Aditiya left Dentsu Webchutney and co-founded his own agency – Talented India, in April last year.
The top 9 creatives were involved in the creation of “The Unfiltered History Tour”, which was the best performing campaign in Asia last year. The campaign won multiple top awards at Cannes 22 winning 4 Grand Prix’s, 2 Gold and 3 Silver, at One Show 22 it won 1 Grand Prix, 7 Gold, 9 Silver and 2 Bronze, and winning 5 Grand Prix’s at MAD STARS 22 and 4 Grand Prix’s at Spikes Asia 22.
Aditiya has scored a massive 3550 points, mostly for “The Unfiltered History Tour”, but also winning at awards at Cannes 2023 for “Or Travel On Cleartrip” and “Why Is This A Swiggy Ad?”.
In #2 (also now at Talented) is Karthik Nambiar with 3480.
Equal #3 with 3380 points are Dentsu Creatives Amey Chodankar + Manasi Sheth, Talented’s Aabhaas Shreshtha + Binaifer Dulani, Ogilvy’s Vaishakh Kolaprath, CRED’s Meghna Yesudas and ex Dentsu’s Geetika Sood.
Ogilvy Mumbai’s Hemant Sharma, Neville Shah, Sagar Jadhav and Sukesh Nayak have scored 2010 points to rank equal #10. They worked on Ogilvy’s “Shah Rukh Khan-My-Ad” campaign for Cadbury, which won at LIA 22, Cannes 22, Clio 22, One Show 22, D&AD 22, Campaign Brief’s THE WORK 22, MAD STARS 22 and more including a Creative Effectiveness Grand Prix at Cannes 23.
Mahesh Ambaliya from VMLY&R Mumbai has ranked #13, just ahead of fellow VMLY&R’s Harish Jadhav and Sunil Shinde. Their biggest awards contributor was “The Killer Pack”. One of the main differences in points was Ambaliya’s involvement on Maxx Flash “Arogya Bindu” which won at New York Festivals 23.
In #17 is Shivali Sharma from Ogilvy and Ipsita Barik from VMLY&R Mumbai who have both accumulated 1160 points.
Leo Burnett’s Indrajeet Kadam, Kaizeen Vankadia and Rituja Ghadge have scored 1125 points to rank equal #19.
FCB/FCB Interface India’s creatives Chirag Gupta, Maithili Mullick and Pawan Pandy have finish with 990 points, putting them in equal #22.
