For men who are sports car enthusiasts, the Audi TT is a dream car. But even though many potential buyers can afford an Audi TT, in Thailand there is a feeling that it is still not possible for them to own one.
Audacity Bangkok’s Jon Chalermwong explains: “There’s one big obstacle in there: their wives. Many Women are jealous of the attention their husbands could get behind the wheel of an Audi TT. The kind of attention that might lead to having an affair, abandoning their family and divorce.”
He said he stunning look and performance of the Audi TT is a threat to marriage life in the eyes of many wives, which leads them to bar their partners from buying their dream Audi.
Audi Thailand teamed up with potential customers to persuade their wives by creating a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner at one of Thailand’s most loved restaurants.
They handpicked, together with audacity, bangkok, the G.O.A.T., winner of Thailand’s Favourite Restaurant 2024, to close its doors for a private dinner with a menu inspired by famous romantic phrases.
While couples were indulging inside, audacity prepared the ultimate fleet of Audis outside, ready to be test driven.
Audi believed that if wives were impressed by the finest dining experience, it would be impossible for them to disapprove of their husbands’ request to buy an Audi TT.
