TBWA\Asia Pacific’s, Regional Director, Marketing & Communications Jane Fraser has resigned from her role, with her notice period ending today. A strategic storyteller and guardian of the brand agency’s narrative, Fraser has led the TBWA Asia Pacific marketing and communications function for over eight years. Highly respected globally, Fraser initially joined TBWA in 2016 working closely with Philip Brett and Nils Andersson.
Now based out of Melbourne, Fraser worked in Singapore for almost 20 years.
Prior to joining TBWA, she led communications at McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific, Ogilvy Asia and Leo Burnett APAC, working with some of the region’s most recognised creatives, including Linda Locke, Tay Guan Hin, Tham Khai Meng, Charles Cadell, David Mayo, Yasmin Ahmad, Piyush Panday and more recently the highly awarded TBWA creative leadership team, Takahiro Hosoda, Veradis (Mike) Vinyaratn, Ronnie Wu and Melvin Mangada.
During her time, TBWA\Asia Pacific has consistently been recognised as a leading creative network. Fraser also created and lead the creative awards strategy, which resulted in the Asia agency collective receiving top honours at Campaign Asia’s annual Agency Report Card, the Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings, and more recently, named Network of the Year in The Work.
In addition to driving the creative award strategy, Fraser managed the media relations and steered the thought leadership conversations aligning these with TBWA’s brand and business goals.
Sean Donovan, President of TBWA Asia praised Fraser’s contribution: “Jane has been an incredible partner, counsel and friend to not just the leadership across TBWA\Asia, but TBWA\Worldwide over the past eight years. Jane initiated and spearheaded many initiatives beyond the communications function and her fingerprints are firmly on the successes we have achieved. She will be sorely missed by all who have had the pleasure of working with her.”
Donovan said they are well advanced with appointing a replacement for Fraser and this appointment will be announced soon.
