In order to encourage people to use this update, GrabFood has partnered with ad agency GIGIL, releasing a humorous online film starring a long-haired, long-bearded protagonist suddenly bombarded by the many requests from those closest to him. The film cleverly demonstrates this particular problem and how this feature eases lunchtime group orders.

The protagonist in the film represents everyone who struggles with taking into account everyone’s meal options, with Group Order positioning itself as the answer to the designated order taker’s prayers.

In only four days upon the film’s release, it garnered up to 3M views and 18K engagements.
