The Sweetshop Asia signs comedy directing duo That Jam to their roster
Sweetshop Asia has welcomed award-winning comedy directing duo, That Jam, to their roster. Hailing from the UK, Joe Beverley and Samuel Hurlock bring a dynamic, sharp-witted approach to storytelling that’s already turning heads with global heavyweights like Adidas, McDonald’s, Google, and Mastercard.
That Jam have an incredible knack for blending heart and humour seamlessly into every project, creating a visual language that captivates their audience.
The duo have been on The Sweetshop’s radar for a while now, and it seems we’ve been on theirs too–back when Hurlock was first finding his feet at film school, Sweetshop was one of the first production companies that he bookmarked on his browser.
That Jam said: “It feels a complete dream to be signing to the amazing roster at The Sweetshop and to be amongst directors we’ve looked up to for so long. When we first spoke to Jenny and Penny from Sweetshop, it was as if we’d been friends for a long time, we instantly felt that this was a company that would nurture our careers and take us to the next level.
