Singapore VFX Studio Dandelion Studios signs on with the m25 representation network

One of Singapore’s leading VFX Studio’s, Dandelion Studios, has joined the growing m25 network for representation and consultancy in Asia and MEA.
Dandelion Studios was established in 2023, founded by Fabian Tan, Joni Raso and Billy Fong — who met while working at the iconic VHQ, in Singapore, Malaysia, China and Indonesia. As key members of that studio, they played a pivotal role in transforming the company from a small startup into a regional leader in Asia.
The founders of Dandelion Studios said this experience laid the groundwork for Dandelion’s core mission: helping brands in Asia visualize their stories across borders and cultural/technical boundaries.
Dandelion Studios has built a strong presence in Singapore and the region, collaborating with agencies and production houses to work with major clients such as Google, Kia, OCBC, Unilever, Republic of Singapore Navy, Building and Construction Authority and P&G. Their expertise spans a wide range of services, including VFX, CGI, Compositing, Design and Motion, ColourGrading, Content Creation and AI Development, which are integral to their creative offerings.
Billy Fong, Partner/Executive Producer, Dandelion Studios, said: “We have had an amazing start to 2025, which followed on from one of our highlight projects of 2024. This was the ‘Republic of Singapore Navy’ spot for Atypicalfilms and MullenLowe Singapore. A blend of formats, footages, collages, stills and stop motion approach, VFX played a crucial role in seamlessly bringing the story together. Nearly every shot received some level of VFX treatment – whether it was CGI, adding scratches, dust to still images or overlaying hand-drawn blemishes on footage. The goals to create a film that blurs the boundaries between different formats, resulting in a seamless and immersive viewing experience. The team at Dandelion Studios demonstrated the craft and technical knowledge required to achieve the creative vision of the project.”
Fabian Tan, Managing Partner/Executive Producer, Dandelion Studios, adds: “We felt a strong synergy with m25 as we feel our mission statements are well aligned. Like ourselves, we see that m25 has a strong understanding of the intricacies of the different markets across asia. m25 also have a unique, diverse, collaborative network of partners that seem to have a clear shared vision, this really appeals to us.”
Stephen Douglas, founder, m25, says: “We are very excited to be collaborating with the Dandelion Studios team. Billy, Fabian and Joni have established something very special in Singapore and the region and are constantly outputting innovative, stylish and diverse work, while being ‘proudly’ Singapore owned! They are also a great ‘fit’ internally for the other m25 network partners. More so, Singapore has always been popular as a serious and resourceful location for production services, Dandelion Studios have proven many times, that they are perfectly positioned for this.”
“They are a fantastic offering and one that I am really excited to share with our Korean clients, as I feel they are well suited to the vibrant and complex Korean market,” added Chloe Ko, founder, m25.
