DTT’s Hyrul Anuar and Talon Creative launch festive Astro film celebrating Malaysians
The #MeriahLainMacam” Raya brand film, directed by Hyrul Anuar in collaboration with Directors Think Tank, Astro Malaysia, and Talon Creative, is a heartwarming tribute to Malaysia’s diverse Raya traditions. The film captures the unique ways Malaysians celebrate, from traditional dishes to the significance of Baju Raya, highlighting the essence of love, connection, and remembrance.
What sets this film apart is Anuar’s signature comedic touch, which adds an engaging and lighthearted feel while keeping the emotional core intact. Rather than relying solely on nostalgia, the storytelling blends humor and heartfelt moments, making it both entertaining and deeply relatable. The film’s authenticity ensures that viewers see reflections of their own Raya experiences on screen.
