From boardroom to bike BESSIUM’s Founder delivers a wake-up call via EFGH India
EFGH Brand Innovations India has launched this new campaign for BESSIUM featuring the brands founder, Ravi Shankar Sharma, who steps out of the boardroom and onto a Bessium branded EV scooter – not to deliver food, but to deliver a mission-critical message to India’s industries, innovators, and policymakers.
This initiative builds on the momentum created at the Start-Up Mahakumbh, where Ravi directly responded to Shri Piyush Goyal’s provocation to Indian entrepreneurs: “Are we happy just being delivery boys and girls?”
In a playful-yet-powerful narrative, the video shows Ravi donning a delivery uniform and riding a BESSIUM-branded EV scooter, while supers on the screen pose tongue-in-cheek questions: “A new start-up? What is he going to deliver?”
Breaking the suspense, Ravi parks the scooter and addresses the audience: “I’m Ravi Shankar Sharma, founder of BESSIUM. No, I’m not here to deliver groceries.
“I’m here to deliver something far more powerful—an important message. If we want to build a Viksit Bharat, we can’t run on borrowed energy. We need storage solutions that are made in India—for India. At BESSIUM, the mission is clear: building clean, scalable, and reliable Battery Energy Storage Systems to ensure that India’s industries never pause.”
The concept was also a playful nod to another Goyal – Deepinder Goyal, the founder of Zomato – who famously rode a bike to deliver food orders himself. But this time, the delivery isn’t food — it’s clean, scalable, reliable energy for a Viksit Bharat.
The narrative also introduces Ravi’s partner, Rahul Khanna, teasing the next phase of the story – highlighting how the team at BESSIUM is building the future of India’s energy storage ecosystem.
Emmanuel Upputuru, Founder of EFGH Brand Innovations, said: “We wanted to dramatize the idea that true delivery for a nation’s future isn’t about packages — it’s about purpose. Having Ravi himself ride out with the message added authenticity and emotional power. It’s rare for founders to step out so boldly, and BESSIUM’s vision for a Viksit Bharat made it natural to create something audacious and memorable.”
With this creative effort, EFGH and BESSIUM aim to inspire industries, policymakers, and innovators to rethink energy independence—and to see energy storage as a cornerstone of India’s future growth.
