The Producers appoints Jerrica Tan as Australia–Asia production bridge

Australian production company The Producers has hired Jerrica Tan to be the production bridge between Australia & Asia.

Tan will work across The Producers’ roster of directors, supporting collaborations between Australia and Asia.

After several formative years at Atypicalfilms in Singapore, where she worked under acclaimed director Desmond Tan, Tan developed a strong, craft-focused production approach. Before relocating to Australia, Tan worked on several Singapore productions including an OCBC Bank spot with GOVT Singapore and working on the award-winning Republic of Singapore Navy campaign with MullenLowe Singapore.

Executive Producer and owner of The Producers Noelle Jones said: “It’s these types of projects that highlight what Jerri does best, being the bridge that ensures cultural nuance, tone, and local sensibility remain intact”.

“My role is to anticipate differences early and make collaboration feel seamless across cultures and markets.” adds Tan.

Co-owner Tanya Spencer said: “Jerri understands both worlds, creatively, culturally, and operationally, and has an innate ability to connect these production ecosystems in a meaningful and impactful way.”
