GIGIL Manila has claimed the top spot in Campaign Brief Asia’s Creative Rankings in the Philippines for the third consecutive year. The agency amassed a total of 2,545 Creative Ranking points over the past two years, cementing its position as the country’s clear #1. MullenLowe TREYNA Manila surged to #2, up from #5 in 2024, while TBWA\SMP Manila edged out VML Manila to take #3. Leo Manila rounds out the top five, ranking at #5 this year.
For GIGIL Manila, 2025 was its strongest year yet on the awards circuit. The agency secured wins at D&AD, Cannes Lions, LIA, Clio, AdFest, Spikes Asia, MAD Stars, AWARD, and The Work, earning 1,660 points in this year’s Creative Rankings. Their overall total of 2,545 points also places them among the Top 10 best performers in Asia.
The agency’s signature funny and quirky films – including Mandaue Foam’s “Steal,” RC Cola’s “Miracle,” and Grab’s “Summer” – all won metal at Cannes, with “Steal” and “Miracle” also picking up Pencils at D&AD.
MullenLowe TREYNA was one of the standout performers of the year. The agency rose from #5 to #2 in the Philippines with 1,230 points, continuing a remarkable three-year rise (from #13 in 2023). Recent highlights include Grand Prix wins at MAD Stars and One Asia in 2025, following a Spikes Asia Grand Prix win in 2024. Campaigns such as Scoliosis Philippines’ “#StripesFitCheck” and Quezon City Gender and Development Council’s “Right to Care” were key contributors.
TBWA\SMP maintained its #3 ranking, finishing just 30 points ahead of VML Manila at #4. Its 2025 awards haul included AdFest, AWARD, The Work, MAD Stars, One Asia, Clio, and LIA, demonstrating consistent performance across multiple award shows.
VML Manila’s strong showing was driven by the award-winning KitKat “Break Bars” campaign, which earned 915 of the agency’s 1,125 Creative Ranking points. The campaign garnered multiple awards at One Asia, MAD Stars, AdFest, and additional wins at Spikes Asia and The Work.
At #5, Leo Manila collected 1,020 points, spread relatively evenly across 2024 and 2025, keeping the agency in a tight race across the #2 to #5 positions.
