LiQuid adopts hybrid AI-live action model to deliver Biznet TVC in five-week turnaround
Indonesian production company LiQuid has delivered a new TVC for Biznet under a compressed five-week timeline, adopting a hybrid production model that combined live action with AI-driven workflows to meet the deadline without compromising craft.
Faced with what the company describes as a “borderline impossible” schedule from green light to final delivery, LiQuid restructured its production process rather than scaling back ambition. The solution was a blended approach – integrating AI into visual development, testing and post-production – alongside traditional live action filmmaking.
Executive Producer Daniel Agus Susanto says the technology was applied pragmatically rather than as a creative gimmick.
“We didn’t want AI for the sake of AI. We wanted something that works. The deadline forced us to rethink everything, and the team stepped up fast.”
Before the shoot commenced, LiQuid’s AI unit conducted extensive visual tests, integration trials, compositing checks and lighting simulations to ensure the two production streams would sit seamlessly together on screen.
Director Adi Winoto said: “If AI and live action feel disconnected, the illusion breaks. That’s why the testing phase mattered so much. Once we nailed that, everything flowed.”
Live action captured performance and emotional authenticity, while AI tools accelerated iteration, refinements and finishing processes that would traditionally require significantly longer timelines.
The company describes the project as a reflection of its adaptive production philosophy – reshaping workflows to meet modern time pressures rather than reducing output.
The final TVC was delivered on schedule, marking what LiQuid sees as a blueprint for future productions operating under increasingly compressed timeframes.
