Zurich Malaysia and MBCS celebrate Raya with “Erti Perayaan yang Menyatukan Kita” film
MBCS, the full-fledged creative agency under Omnicom Media Malaysia, has partnered with Zurich Malaysia to launch a Raya film to commemorate the festive season.
The short film, ‘Erti Perayaan yang Menyatukan Kita’ (Translated to: “A celebration that unites us”), reflects on the everlasting nature of love, reminding Malaysians that Raya is about honouring those who shaped us and how we carry their values forward. The film portrays how care, values, and guidance endure long after someone is physically gone – reflecting Zurich’s commitment of ‘Care for What Matters’.
Chua Soo May, Group Brand Director of MBCS, said: “Raya is not just about celebration, but also about remembrance and continuity. In the film, we depict the simple sampin (a traditional sarong) to channel the truth of loss. It becomes the symbolic bridge between the past and the present. Yet, there is something profound in how love outlasts presence. And we wanted to show that the absence of a loved one does not erase the love. It lives on through traditions, memories, and the legacy they leave behind.”

Building on its recent Chinese New Year film, ‘Erti Perayaan yang Menyatukan Kita’ forms part of Zurich Malaysia’s broader festive narrative to reinforce its role as a steady presence for families in every season of life.
