Beger Paint and NUTs Agency Thailand’s new film turns space race into climate wake-up call

The dream of moving to Mars is no longer just a science-fiction plot. It is becoming a desperate necessity. While NASA and SpaceX are actively building the infrastructure to make humanity a multi-planetary species by 2050, the reason behind this trillion-dollar investment is both simple and terrifying: Earth is turning into a giant oven.

People are living through the hottest decade in recorded history. The Urban Heat Island effect has trapped cities in a heat bubble, making urban streets up to 7°C hotter than surrounding countryside. With nearly half a million heat-related deaths each year, particularly across Asia, the search for a cooler planet is no longer just a headline, but a race for survival.

This story is born from that very heat. NUTs Agency Thailand and Beger Paint bring the future into the present, showing how those expensive space missions are directly connected to the sweat on your skin and the shock of your monthly electricity bill. The new film follows a family struggling to breathe in a world that is literally overheating.

It highlights a painful social reality: escape is a luxury. While the elite and billionaires can afford a golden ticket on the No-R 8800 spacecraft to start over on a fresh planet, the rest of us are left behind to suffocate beneath a concrete heat dome. It is a story about the divide between those who can fly away and those who must fight just to stay cool.

But the climate crisis is the ultimate equaliser. It does not care about your social status or your bank balance. In the end, the heat belongs to everyone.

Instead of searching for a way to escape to a planet millions of miles away, BegerCool 2 in 1 asks a simpler question: why not make this home livable again?

NUTs Agency brings the answer back down to Earth. By taking AeroTech — the same ceramic cooling technology used by NASA to protect space shuttles from extreme heat — and putting it into a paint formula, they have created a thermal shield for homes.

The coating reflects, emits and blocks heat so effectively that it can reduce indoor temperatures by up to 6°C and cut electricity bills by 32%. Best of all, it reflects heat away from buildings, helping reduce the urban heat dome effect.

If moving to Mars is too far and too expensive, then maybe it is time to change the mission.

You do not need a rocket to find comfort.
You just need to turn your home into a Cool Zone.
The Mission is simple. Do not just survive the heat. Defeat it.
