To strengthen Thai e-commerce expansion into China Yell Worldwide expands their network opening second China office in Chengdu
Thailand independent advertising agency network, Yell Worldwide has continued its rapid regional expansion opening a second office in mainland China. The new office in Chengdu strengthens Yell’s capabilities to help Thai brands enter the Chinese market.
The company yesterday announced a strategic joint venture with Sichuan Maintech Digital Technology, a Chengdu-based e-commerce agency in Sichuan Province, to expand its service offering beyond branding, advertising, and marketing. The partnership will provide Thai brands with end-to-end e-commerce and distribution solutions, complementing Yell’s existing operations in Shanghai, which were established two years ago.
The Joint Venture signing ceremony took place in Chengdu yesterday (14 July), with Mr. Sake Nopthaisong, Consul-General of Thailand in Chengdu, serving as an honored witness to the agreement.
The new Chengdu office becomes Yell Worldwide’s eighth office in Asia and its second office in mainland China, following Shanghai. The office will focus on helping Thai brands navigate China’s highly competitive e-commerce landscape and distribution ecosystem, reducing market entry barriers for Thai businesses seeking growth opportunities in one of the world’s largest consumer markets.
“After working in the Chinese market over the past two years, we have learned that the biggest challenge for international businesses is no longer brand building. Today, success depends on market access, e-commerce capabilities, and an integrated distribution ecosystem,” said Ohm Dissara Udomdej, Chief Executive Officer of Yell Worldwide (pictured above left).
“With a local team in Chengdu, we can combine on-the-ground expertise, market intelligence, and strategic partnerships to help businesses achieve sustainable growth in China.”
With the addition of Chengdu, Yell Worldwide further strengthens its regional network while expanding its capabilities to support brands throughout every stage of cross-border growth from brand strategy and marketing communications to e-commerce operations and market distribution.
