McCANN MENA gives overthinking a place to go in new IKEA Alsulaiman campaign
IKEA Alsulaiman and McCANN MENA have launched ‘Overthinking, sorted.,’ a new campaign showing how better bedroom storage can do more than organise our belongings – it can give us one less thing to think about.
The campaign is rooted in a familiar human truth: amid the pace and pressure of everyday life, people carry an endless mental load from one day to the next. Unfinished tasks, tomorrow’s responsibilities and the moments we continue replaying often follow us home – and into the bedroom.
Designed primarily for adults aged 26 to 45, the campaign speaks to a life stage shaped by busy routines, growing responsibilities and increasingly full homes. Whether organising their own bedrooms or creating more functional spaces for their children, this audience needs storage that does more than find a place for things; it needs to make everyday life feel easier.
The campaign moves bedroom storage beyond shelves, drawers and capacity to focus on what thoughtful, functional design can give people back: a calmer place to unwind, recharge and reset. From wardrobes that bring order to growing collections to smart solutions for smaller spaces, IKEA Alsulaiman helps customers find storage that fits their homes, routines and personal needs, making the end of the day feel a little lighter.
Initiative MENAT shaped the end-to-end media strategy and digital activation, bringing the idea to relevant audiences across the customer journey and connecting awareness with consideration and conversion.
Influencer-led storytelling will bring the idea into everyday life by sharing their own organising habits, bedroom challenges and curated selections of IKEA storage solutions. Through personal stories and practical inspiration, they will show how small changes to a bedroom can create a space that feels more ordered, comfortable and personal.
“At IKEA Alsulaiman, we know that a better everyday life often begins with simple changes at home,” said Rami Rihani, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Alsulaiman Group. “Overthinking, sorted. shows how something as practical as bedroom storage can make a meaningful difference to the way a space feels. When everything has its place, there is less demanding attention and more room to switch off. Through solutions designed for different homes, routines and needs, we want to help our customers create bedrooms that feel calmer, easier and more their own.”
“Most of us know the feeling of being ready for bed while our minds are still wide awake. We spend the day taking in information, making decisions and carrying doubts; the last thing we need is a room full of things asking for our attention. You can’t always tidy your thoughts, but you can start with the room around you. When everything has a place, your mind has one less thing to deal with. That’s our very IKEA answer to a very human problem: Overthinking, sorted,” said Federico Fanti, Regional Chief Creative Officer, McCANN MENA.
Darine Elkaissi, Managing Director, Initiative KSA, added: “Great campaigns start with an idea that makes people feel something. With ‘Overthinking, sorted.’, we brought a relatable human insight to life through powerful content and a connected media approach across digital and social channels and activations. When media and creative work hand in hand, we don’t just reach people; we create meaningful connections that make the idea resonate and stay with them.”
Running for one month across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Overthinking, sorted. will come to life through digital, social media, CRM and in-store touchpoints, creating a connected journey from recognising the need for a calmer bedroom to discovering the IKEA storage solutions that can help create one.
