Rhee appointed CEO of Grey Group Korea
Scott Rhee has been appointed as CEO of Grey Group Korea, effective immediately. He reports to Chairman & CEO of Grey Group Asia Pacific Nirvik Singh, and replaces Martin Patmore who will take on a regional role within G2.
Rhee (left) brings with him over 24 years of experience in marketing communications, from advertising, digital marketing, direct marketing, healthcare communications to public relations. He comes with an excellent track record in new business development and maintaining dynamic, long-term client relationships.
Singh said, “We have ambitious plans for Grey Group in the Asia Pacific region and Korea remains a critical strategic market for our network. In addition to Scott’s proven capabilities, extensive experience, as well as strong business, leadership and people skills, he is a highly-motivated and results-driven individual. I am confident he will be instrumental in helping us to achieve our goals.”
Rhee began his career at Diamond Advertising, an in-house agency for Hyundai Business Group, and has since worked at Burson-Marsteller Korea, local fashion company Shinhan International and local marketing services agency B&R Communications, before joining Euro RSCG (Havas) Group Korea in 1995 as Managing Director & CEO. One of the founders of Euro RSCG’s operations in Korea, Rhee successfully expanded the business from advertising to include digital marketing, data consulting, direct marketing and healthcare communications over his 16-year tenure.
