KFC launches first ‘Global Delights’ spot kicking off with the flavours of Italy via Grey Singapore
KFC Singapore has launched its “Global Delights” series today featuring KFC’s signature crispy chicken with flavours that “represent” different parts of the world.
The first product to be launched in this campaign, via Grey Singapore, is “Italian Crunch”, featuring KFC’s chicken with tomato & herbs seasoning – frequently used in Italian cuisine. Italian food is generally well-liked in Singapore, with diners enjoying the hearty, robust flavours of Italian fare.
The tagline for the campaign is “Make Every Meal an Italian Affair!” The campaign includes a TVC, press advertisements, outdoor advertising at bus stops, in-store advertising as well as ads on both digital and social platforms.
The 20-second TVC will run in English, Mandarin and Bahasa. It draws inspiration from Italian football, which is an integral part of Italian culture. In a humorous twist of plot, a group of football fans appear to be rushing to a game. Instead, they are seen rushing to grab the latest “Italian Crunch” chicken at a KFC restaurant.
The “Italian Crunch” will be available for a limited time from 19 June to 23 July. As part of the “Global Delights” series, there are future plans for KFC’s signature crispy chicken to be offered in other exciting international cuisine-inspired options.
