BBDO Proximity Thailand and Thai Society For The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals get personal on the subject of animal abuse
Thai Society For The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (TSPCA) wanted to raise awareness on the topic of animal cruelty – specifically domestic animals, and get people to change the way they perceive domestic animal abuse.
In Thailand, and across the world, the mistreatment of household pets as well as strays is commonplace practice and is often overlooked or accepted.
With the help of BBDO Proximity Thailand, TSPCA created a series of ads that exposed the public’s general disregard for domestic animal abuse as well as connect with the reader on a more personal level by using abuse marks to mimic typical trait characteristics of the specific dog breeds. At first glance, most people do notice the abuse, only when they take the time to notice, it becomes obvious.
This discovery process is meant to encourage the viewer to think more deeply on the topic of animal abuse and realize that not noticing and doing nothing to prevent it is part of the problem.

I have 6 wonderful dogs, had 7 one killed by attack with club. Thai people need to
be educated on handling dogs. They reach for a large stick and threaten which of course gains a negative response from dog;
I would think an education program, especially in school as youngster need it the most.
