Sengled.1.jpgSmart lighting solutions company Sengled enlisted creative brand consultancy BSUR Shanghai to develop a brand film to promote the company’s message ‘Always Surprising’. With a strong focus on the daily lives of people, Sengled is dedicated to the idea that a light bulb can be continuously reinvented to make life better. The agency enlisted director Patrick Tom (Liberum13) and production company Six Toes to help bring the idea to life.

Sengled.2.jpg“The brand film reinforces our mission as a leading innovation company. Our smart lighting solutions improve the quality of life – easy to install, intuitively operated and seamlessly integrated into the home. It’s technology you’ll forget is even there,” said Yedda Wen, Head of Public Relations at Sengled.

“Sengled’s products are truly amazing, and we wanted to develop a concept that clearly conveys their philosophy,” said Qin Guo, General Manager at BSUR.

The film shows various individuals methodically looking up at something special happening above while a voice over narrates the brand’s ideology. The film finally reveals that the company’s innovation is designed surprisingly inside of a light bulb.

“The idea of looking up and discovering something new and unexpected inside of a simple light bulb is unique and specific to the brand,” added Guo.
