“Daniel is an incredible resource and a key part of our family here at The Sweet Shop,” says Claire Davidson, Managing Director of The Sweet Shop Asia/MENA. “He is the ideal person to have on our Executive Team and we couldn’t be happier to have him.”

Ho (pictured) got his start at leading Malaysian production company, Axis Films. Working from the ground up, Ho’s strong creative and organisational skills quickly led to new opportunities in management, first as a Line Producer and then as an in-house Producer at JWT Malaysia.

After earning a position as Head of Production at BBDO Malaysia in 2000, Ho returned to Axis Films where he helped create a broad range of large scale and unique production projects. Three years later, he moved to Jakarta where he was hired to break ground and oversee the establishment of an entirely new production house for Velocity Films.

In 2009, Ho took on the position of Executive Producer at renowned Vietnam Production House, Sudest Production before being tapped by The Sweet Shop’s Bangkok office to come on board as a Senior Producer. Since that time, Daniel has been instrumental in helping to service the growing commercial needs of the surrounding territory.

“For the last three years, Ho has been integral to The Sweet Shop’s growth in the Asia market,” adds Paul Prince, The Sweet Shop’s CEO and Founding Partner. “As Senior Producer, he has ensured the quality of our directors’ work throughout the region. I’m honoured that he has accepted a role on our Management team.”

“It’s been a fantastic journey so far. Working for a global company like The Sweet Shop has opened up opportunities and exposure you wouldn’t get otherwise. It’s going to be challenge and a huge step up, but I couldn’t be more excited for the times ahead,” says Ho of his new role.
