ADK tops the CB Asia Taiwan Creative Rankings to be named Taiwan’s Creative Agency of the Year for 2018: Leo Burnett’s Murphy Chou heads the most awarded Taiwanese creative rankings
For the third year in a row the Campaign Brief Asia Taiwan Creative Rankings show ADK Taiwan sitting at the top.
ADK has continued their award-winning form over the past 12 months earning 435 Creative Ranking Points to rank them #1 overall with a grand total of 790 Creative Ranking Points from the past two years.
The agency proved consistent across the regional award shows winning at AdFest, Spikes Asia, AWARD Awards, London International Awards and Campaign Brief’s The Work.
In recognition of their strong creative performances ADK are named Campaign Brief Asia’s 2018 Taiwan Creative Agency of the Year. ADK Taiwan’s creative department is lead by chief creative officer Richard Yu (pictured left).
In #2 position is Leo Burnett Taiwan, who have also had an excellent 2 year period creatively and have a total of 555 Creative Ranking Points. In last year’s Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings Leo Burnett were also ranked #2 after previously been unranked in 2016.
It’s a great credit to the agency that in this year’s 2018 Creative Rankings the Taiwan agency is the Leo Burnett network’s most awarded office in Asia – overtaking the Leo Burnett offices in Thailand, Malaysia, India and Manila.
Ogilvy ranks #3 in Taiwan with 350 Creative Ranking Points. Ogilvy moved up from #5 in 2017 and now sits a close 10 points in front of the #4 ranked Taiwanese agency, Dentsu Taiwan (340pts).
#5 in Taiwan is Dentsu One Taiwan with 255 Creative Ranking Points.
Havas Worldwide Taiwan has 210 points and is ranked at #6 most awarded in the market.
New agency to the Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings is X-Line Taipei and they rank at #7 with 190 Creative Ranking Points.
Rounding out the Taiwan Top 10 most awarded agencies is #9 J Walter Thompson (155pts) and Medialand Digital Strategy at #10.
In the Taiwan Hottest Creatives 2018 ranking, the ADK and Leo Burnett creative departments fill the top 12 places.
Riding high in #1 position in Taiwan is Leo Burnett’s chief creative officer, Murphy Chou. Chou (pictured left) jumps up from #10 ranking last year with a total of 520 Creative Ranking Points from the past 2 years.
In #2 position on the ranking of award-winning creative working in the Taiwan industry is Leo Burnett’s Jin Yang with 465 points. Yang moves up from #6 last year.
ADK Taiwan’s CCO Richard Yu (pictured at top) is ranked #3 with 380 points, just ahead of Leo Burnett’s Ed Hsieh at #4 with 370 points.
Karl Kuo and Tim Lee are both ranked at equal #5 with 355 Creative Ranking Points. The Leo Burnett duo were ranked equal #3 with Ed Hsieh last year.
Three ADK creatives who were un ranked last year fill the next three positions in Taiwan’s Top 10 – Maya Yang (#7) and Jean Shih and Kurt Lin (equal #8).
2018’s #1 ranked creative – Bell Bai from ADK – has 285 points and is ranked #10 this year.

The Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings were introduced in 1995 to tabulate Asia’s most creative agencies and individual creatives, based on award winning performances over a two year period at the top global and regional award shows.
