Chino Jayme, Dino Ocampo and Noah Valdez named ECDs across Ogilvy Group Philippines

Ogilvy Philippines has appointed Chino Jayme, Noah Valdez and Dino Ocampo as Executive Creative Directors, to drive the agency’s creative strategy.

The team will lead a team of young, passionate and multi-awarded creatives across the Ogilvy Group in the Philippines: Ogilvy Advertising, Ogilvy One, Ogilvy Public Relations, Bates CHI & Partners, Soho Square and Pulse Communications; across the Agency’s Advertising, Brand and Content, One-to-One communications, PR & Influence, and Health offerings.

The trio’s collective vision is centered around the concept that groundbreaking ideas can emerge from any corner of the agency, transcending traditional hierarchies. As ECDs, Jayme (pictured left), Valdez (pictured right) and Ocampo (pictured middle) are committed to fostering an environment where creativity knows no bounds.

“We believe in democratizing creativity. Our goal is to empower every team member – from junior creatives to account managers – to contribute their unique perspectives and ideas,” says Jayme.

Jayme is a award-winning creative leader, who over the last 13 years was twice ranked #3 Creative Director in the Philippines (2018, 2016) and Copywriter of the Year (2016) by Adobo Magazine. Jayme’s campaigns have brought home metals from Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, New York Festivals, CLIO Awards, Webbys, Spikes, Adfest, Ad Stars, Kidlat, Adobo Design Awards, and Tambuli.

“Innovation thrives where diverse voices collaborate,” said Valdez. “Our role is to amplify those voices and turn them into impactful campaigns.”

Over the last 3 years, Valdez has served in both a general management and creative leadership capacity as both Managing Partner and ECD for Bates CHI & Partners, the highlight of his 16 year journey with the agency. As ECD for Bates, Valdez led the development of creative and effective work across industries, most notably for Bonakid Pre-School. In 2023, Bates was recognized with multiple international and local awards for the Maya Launch campaign. As Group ECD today, he expands his role to campaigns across various industries.

“The mindset that everyone in the agency contributes to the creative process is key to fostering innovation and to our continued success. We’re excited to lead by example and inspire breakthroughs across all client projects,” adds Ocampo.

Ocampo is a 20-year industry veteran, whose experience across advertising, direct marketing and digital has brought him recognition from Cannes Lions, the Asia Pacific Advertising Festival, Spikes Asia as well as the Araw, Kidlat, and Boomerang Awards.

Elly Puyat, CEO, Ogilvy Group Philippines, said: “We could not be more thrilled to have Chino, Dino and Noah as our Creative Leaders and my partners in growing the Agency’s twin peaks of creativity and effectiveness. Creativity has and will always be at the heart of the Ogilvy brand and culture. Our best ideas emerge from the intersection of diverse areas of expertise. By empowering everyone across our Agency to contribute, we benefit from a rich tapestry of ideas borne from various backgrounds, viewpoints, life stages, and cultures. A testament to this is our recent Silver Lion at Cannes in the Media, Culture & Context, Single-Market Campaign category for ‘This is an IKEA Store’, and the creative campaigns that led to our Asia-Pacific Tambuli Award for Agency of the Year.”

“We can count on Chino, Dino and Noah to sustain and elevate the creative momentum in each of our Group’s nine businesses built over the last decade.”

Ogilvy anticipates exciting campaigns, boundary-pushing creative and memorable storytelling under their leadership. Clients can look forward to fresh perspectives and dynamic solutions as the Agency continues to redefine creativity in the industry.
