Last year 200,000 girls were tricked into the sex trade in Southeast Asia alone. BBDO Proximity Singapore highlights this fact in a print campaign for Traffick Lights.

Nice illustrations. The idea was nice years ago. This is just another sign that our business has gotten lazy. If we’re not going to be pushing any creative boundaries I hope we’re all getting rich.
1/ The sex trade is terribly exploitive of some women. For others it is one of few ways they realistically can achieve a better life. What is needed is not another futile and hypocritical attempt to end it, but better regulation and health standards, more protection for the women involved, and removing the stigma attached to it.
2/ I want to go to that restaurant.
Sadly, this only dramatizes the obvious. It would have been wonderful if they had found a new perspective on this problem to help raise real awareness. Or better still, come up with a way to be part of the solution.
Really good stuff. I think it is time for some long overdue long island teas Prim 🙂
