DDB Group Singapore dominates Mediacorp Young Lions competition two year in a row
Last night young teams from DDB Group Singapore won the first position and first runners-up at the Mediacorp Young Lions film category and the second runners-up in the Print category. In 2011 too a team from the agency won the first position in the film category.
This year’s first position winners are Kenneth Chia and Jovan Peh from DDB Group’s RAPP. “Ed Cheong, Associate Creative Director, RAPP, has done a terrific job in attracting and mentoring some of the brightest young talent. At DDB Group we’re trying to build a culture that gives our young folks roots first and then wings. Looks like we’re having some success. “, says Joji Jacob, Group Executive Creative Director, DDB Group Singapore.

And well done to TBWA’s Reggie and Nuno for winning first position in the Print category. Great ad boys.
And you guys at Campaign Brief need to get off your lazy asses and cover the full story. What’s with the biased reporting? Or are you resorting the agency press release POV only?
Go Kovan Go
Mr Lee, I would have thought it was more a case of you getting off your ‘lazy ass’ and let us know like DDB did. I think the headline also explains the angle of the story…
Last year we covered this news as two posting (see below) as we like to include pics of the winners. A bit of nice recognition for the team – but some agencies treat that request with more priority and enthusiasm than others.

Spoken to TBWA today and Reggie and Nuno will get their worthy recognition when we get their pic.
Awesome. Nice people finishing first.
please show the winning work here.
I believe it’s Jexy and Nuno, not Reggie and Nuno.
This was the easy part, now show us how good u really r at Cannes.
Don’t get drunk on glamour like last years team and screw it up. Good luck.
