This is funny.
Within a day of Ogilvy Shanghai’s Coca-Cola Grand Prix feat in the outdoor category in Cannes these two copies (below) started to appear on Chinese Twitter site, Weibo.
Ogilvy won the Outdoor Grad Prix and a Gold Lion and it was great to see that Chief Creative Officer Graham Fink managed to fly into Cannes for the awards ceremony Jonathan Maks, the young Hong Kong based designer who created the poster.
Maks (pictured below with Graham Fink), who also created the “Remembering Steve Jobs” tribute, is having a hell of a start to his career!

I created a knockoff version of The Hug Machine that holds you as you cry yourself to sleep.
Was it crying because this won Grand Prix? Or because they’re still sending press releases out about it?
Does anybody around here find this stuff confusing? Have we lost the plot? Everything being sent here is so suspect. I’d love the see the work Ogilvy really does for their clients. Like Unilever, HPB, and whatever else they might have other than the list of coloured pencil shops (shop, it was only one shop.) and storage containers, and other HUGE clients.
